Title: Community Participation in Research (PAR-08-075)
Training opportunity for applicants proposing research on health
promotion, disease prevention, and health disparities that is jointly
conducted by communities and researchers and targets medically
underserved areas (MUAs) and medically underserved populations (MUPs).
The National Institute on Aging (NIA): (K01)
Title: Promoting Careers in Aging and Health Disparities Research (PAR-09-136)
This FOA is designed for career development in support of health
disparities related to aging. It is part of the overall goal of
NIH-supported career development programs to help ensure that a diverse
pool of highly trained scientists are available in adequate numbers and
in appropriate research areas to address the Nation's biomedical,
behavioral, and clinical research needs.
