SRC Staff

Duties
Larissa started working at the SRC as an in-home interviewer collecting cognitive and developmental data and biomarkers from children and families. She has had experience with data collection and observations in homes and schools and in clinical, academic and community settings (e.g., parks, camps, women's shelters). Larissa has worked in both rural and urban environments and with populations ranging from infants to senior citizens.

Duties
Kari manages in-home, in-school, and community research projects. She is responsible for coordinating and monitoring data collection activities from field sites including sites out of state. Kari hires, trains, and supervises part-time interview staff. She also assists with writing research reports and summaries.
Kari has experience conducting dietary interviews and has managed projects in a variety of fields including parks and recreation, education, health, business and media. 

 

Duties
Specializing in the management of multi-year, multi-mode longitudinal social science research projects including: recruiting, hiring and training field staff, scheduling state wide and national data collections, developing and managing data protocols, delivery and transmission strategies from the field. Current and former projects managed include:  PROSPER, LEGACY Together, Social Skills Improvement Systems.

  • Coordinating smartphone procurement, troubleshooting devices, and serving as a liaison between the SRC and Verizon for DREAM projects

  • Co-facilitate focus groups

Responsible for developing and monitoring the charge-out rates for the center as well as preparing financial reports and implementing University policies and procedures as they relate to the research projects; responsible for maintaining all budget records and coordinating all budget related activities.
