Military Families Symposium with Michelle Kees, Ph.D.

The Clearinghouse for Military Family Readiness is presenting a symposium focused on promoting resiliency in Military Families. Michelle Kees, Psychologist and Assistant Professor in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Outpatient Program at the University of Michigan Medical School will be featured at the symposium. Dr. Kees is an expert on risk and resilience in Military Families, and will be discussing lessons learned around working with Military Families. As a part of the symposium, a faculty panel will engage with Kees and the audience to discuss implications of the presentation focused on action oriented research design to promote well-being of Military Families. The symposium and panel discussion is scheduled for October 29, 2014 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the Penn State Room of the Nittany Lion Inn.
