DiPerna Named Winner of Eberly Faculty Fellowship

James DiPerna, assistant professor of school psychology, has been named recipient of the Harry and Marion Eberly Faculty Fellowship. DiPerna will hold the appointment for a three-year term beginning July 1. The Harry and Marion Eberly Faculty Fellowship provides supplementary funds to an outstanding member of the College of Education to assist the holder in teaching, research and public service. DiPerna joined the Penn State faculty in 2003. He teaches courses in consultation, assessment, intervention and professional issues in school psychology. DiPerna's research interests include academic and emotional competence, school-based prevention programs and the use of technology to facilitate learning.
