The Penn State Rural Interest Initiative
The Penn State Rural Interest Initiative has been created to fulfill Penn State's land-grant mission while generating a body of knowledge and material that is relevant and valued across research, education, and public policy arenas. Initiative efforts will help to create a University-wide infrastructure that facilitates networking among faculty, staff, and students, facilitates collaborations across colleges, service units, campuses, and disciplines, and creates an enhanced capacity to respond to future external funding opportunities.
