Join the SSC Network

The SSC recognizes the increased need for interdisciplinary activity in developing solutions to pressing issues facing elders who wish to age in place. The SSC brings together faculty, representing a wide range of disciplines (including gerontology, home design, technology, community planning, public policy human development, the liberal arts, education, agriculture, medicine, and others). An important function of the SSC is to develop successful interdisciplinary research groups to pursue the SSC mission. Through fostering and facilitating interdisciplinary networking, research programs, workshops, conferences, and University-community partnerships the SSC always seeks to make collaborative connections.
