Amanda Maull Leaves the SRC
The Survey Research Center at Penn State will soon have a vacancy that will be difficult to fill! Our Telephone Division Manager, Amanda Maull's last day of work is June 13th.
Amanda's departure is an historical event because she was among the very first wave of telephone interviewers hired for the brand new Survey Research Center in 2001. At that time, the phone center had only fourteen call stations and the SRC had only two full-time employees. Amanda helped make calls for two of SRC's early phone projects: Adult Tobacco RDD and PACE (Parenting Our Children to Excellence).
After two years as an interviewer, Amanda became a supervisor of the phone center. As her responsibilities grew, she gradually moved up to becoming the Division Manager of the Phone Center where she oversaw three full-time staff members, five telephone supervisors, and more than sixty phone interviewers.
Amanda's recent responsibilities have also included managing five phone survey research projects with a combined budget of over $1 million.
The SRC wishes Amanda all the best as she begins her graduate studies in Sociology and Demography at Penn State.
