Field Interviewer Positions

The Penn State Survey Research Center is currently seeking local Face-to-Face Interviewers to conduct surveys with students in the following school districts: Jim Thorpe, Panther Valley, Carbondale, Riverside, Pittston, Wyoming Valley West, Littlestown, West Perry, Gettysburg, Susquenita, Northern Lehigh, Stroudsburg and Salisbury. University Park applicants will also be considered. While we do not guarantee a minimum number of hours, field interviewers can work approximately 10 to 15 hours per week during busy times, primarily March through May. Full work day availability (8 hours) is required. Excellent people skills, attention to detail and own transportation required. College experience is required, a College degree is preferred. Successful applicants must be able to follow a very specific protocol and attend a full-day training session in February. Pay starts at $8.00/hr, travel costs are reimbursed at the rate of 50.5 cents/mile. Child abuse and criminal clearances required.
