Web Surveys
Web surveys have become a cost effective way to field surveys that collect data from certain populations. To meet the growing interest to conduct web-based surveys, the SRC offers services for all aspects of Internet data collection, including consultation on research strategies, questionnaire design, programming, and data management.
Survey administration can be either open (anyone can access) or closed (restricted password access). Most surveys are written using Perseus SurveySolutions® software, which allows us to create customized survey instruments for our clients. This package produces surveys that can be deployed through the Web or email.
We have the capability to send invitation and follow-up emails to survey respondents, host surveys on our secure server, and allow clients to view instant response rates and summary statistics via a web portal. To ensure quality, data collections are regularly monitored and the data are backed up every night and protected.
