Survey Design
Every successful survey research project begins with sound instrument design. The staff at the Survey Research Center (SRC) has experience designing survey instruments, focus group scripts, cover letters, follow-up letters, postcards, and training materials necessary for successful data collection activities. Performing cognitive interviewing, pre-testing, and piloting to identify and eliminate potential problems with questionnaire design, wording, awkward terminology, confusing response categories, and/or sequencing before your study goes to field ensures quality data collection. Whether you have an instrument that could use some refinement or are starting from scratch, the SRC staff will be able to help in the design phase of your project.
